Digital does

Bio

Joos van Barneveld, better known as Digital Does, is a multidisciplinary international artist known for his intricate and dynamic lettering styles. Born and raised in the Netherlands, Does began his graffiti journey in the mid-1990s and has since evolved into a highly respected figure in the street art community.

Traditional letterform is Does’s primary love. His style is characterized by its precision, vibrant colors, and a unique blend of abstract and typographic elements. Does’s ability to transform letters into complex, fluid compositions has earned him international acclaim, leading to exhibitions in prominent galleries and mural commissions around the world.

His pieces often explore themes of personal growth, urban culture, and the interplay between chaos and order, making Digital Does a significant and influential artist in contemporary graffiti.

In recent years, Does has embraced various mediums beyond graffiti, evolving as a multidisciplinary artist. His ventures into digital art prints, canvas work, and 3D sculpture have helped him make a lasting impact in both urban and fine art circles worldwide.

Does is a co-founder of the LoveLetters crew, a creative collective of ten European writers formed in 2006. They specialize in graphic design, web design, tattoo art, and photography, each member contributing their unique skill to create a diverse and innovative body of work.
